Making the Move

Recently we’ve seen many food brand labels changing the ingredients in their products. Many companies are discontinuing the use of artificial ingredients. Some of this is in reaction to pressure from the FDA, some of it is pressure from consumers.

One big food brand name that has recently jumped on board with this change is Kellogg. Before 2018, 75% of their products contain artificial ingredients. Kellogg has since completely remove all artificial ingredients in their products.

Keep it Simple

Rather than bowing to societal pressure, Kellogg claims they are excited for the change. They are happy to be able to provide healthier products to their customers, especially since many customers are more interested in consuming foods with natural, simpler ingredients.
